F.I.T.T.

Frequency: How many times during the week will you perform the activity or exercise?

Intensity: How hard will you be working when you perform the activity or exercise?

Time: How long will you perform the activity or exercise during each session?

Type: What mode of activity or exercise will you use for your training?

FITNESS DEFINED

Being 'game ready' involves three areas of fitness: aerobic, strength and flexibility. Once you've answered the F.I.T.T. questions (above) you can start working on your three aspects of fitness.

Aerobic fitness is all about how effectively your heart, lungs and bloodstream work together to get oxygen to your muscles.

Muscular-skeletal fitness combines muscle strength and muscle endurance.

Flexibility fitness is a measure of the range of motion in your joints.

Quick Links
Meet Frank. Have him demo some of his favourite sports for you. But you'll have to raid the fridge for him. You'll see how much food he needs to show you all his best moves.
Got the need for speed? Grab a pair of skis, go to the top of a snowy hill and let gravity do the rest!

Slow Bicycle Race
Try riding your bikes downhill as slowly as you can. Last one to the bottom wins!
